Prayers for my mom
I've been struck by the human mortality stick. Yesterday morning my mom had a stroke. It was "mild" as far as strokes go, but still...A STROKE?! My mom is YOUNG and works out. Granted she has blood pressure and cholesterol issues, but still. She's still in the hospital and will be until tomorrow afternoon. I guess they still want to monitor her. The left side of her body has lost some functionality, but the doctors say that because of the location of the stroke in the brain it should all come back with time. So now she has to do physical therapy, etc. So, if you could all just keep her in your prayers, I'd be really grateful. I'm just so glad that she's relatively ok, it could have been so much worse. Phew. My mom is seriously my best friend (besides Spencer) and I seriously think I would die if something happened to her. I'm still trying to process it all. To be continued...

I am so sorry. I will keep her in my prayers. Tell her that I hope she gets well soon. Don't worry...your mom is a strong woman, just like you :)

I have to say, I totally understand about the immortality of parents. Is it too much to ask that they live forever? I mean really.
Bog I am so sorry! My mom told me today and I couldn't believe it because I just saw you - are you okay? I know how you feel about your mom, so I feel for you! Hopefully she makes a full recovery, which I'm SURE she will since she's so YOUNG! I agree with Nic - can't our parents live forever? By the way it was great to see you - you have a rockin' prego bod and are as beautiful as ever! And yes, I love the bangs! We seriously need to hang more! Let me know about the shower, and if there's anything else I can do!
