My Mom

First of all, thank you for your thoughts prayers and phone calls. I think it's all really starting to hit me and it is HARD. Today I am sad. I'm hormonal and tired which is a bad combination. My mom is still in the hospital, but we are hoping that after another round of tests this morning that she will be heading home this afternoon. She seems to be in good spirits and says her drooping face looks like she got a bad dose of Botox. Her speech is sounding better already which is a good sign. I don't really have much more information than that at this point. She's strong and will make it through this. The hard thing is coming to terms with the idea that though she will recover, her smile may never be the same and that makes me sad.
