Mom Update and other things

My mom is doing better. She came home from the hospital on Wed. night. She is really tired, but enjoying all the visitors and various kindnesses that people have shown. Our family has never really been on the receiving end of so much love and service; it is very humbling. We have really felt the love of our Savior through others this past week. So far she is just supposed to keep resting. Hopefully soon she will begin physical therapy as she tries to regain her ability on the left side of her body. We are hopeful that with time and hard work good things will happen.

I am continuing my projects around the house and am super excited to see so much light at the end of that tunnel. The baby is growing like crazy and really packs a punch these days. I think he's like me...never really slows down. I'm beginning to get a little nervous about the energy level of our future family. Yikes. However, I think I would get bored with a sedentary child.

Spencer is still plugging away at school. We only have 6 weeks left of this 1st year and we are both SO SO excited. It has not been easy. I honestly don't know how he's done it and done it so well. I'm so proud of him.

OK- that's all for now. Again, thanks for your thoughts and prayers on behalf of my mom and family. We have felt so loved and blessed and are so glad to have you all in our lives.

Oh Katie, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. But I'm relieved to hear that she is getting stronger every day. I'm sure that she is as strong a person as you are, and that she will come through this. We'll be praying for your family. m.

I'm so glad to hear she's home. The offer still stands if there's anything I can do. Love you.

So glad to hear your mom is doing alright and is home, etc. As for recipes, fish is against my religion, so can't help you there, and anything with chicken...I can't think of anything appropriate. Tell her hi.
I can't wait to see your child.
