Every year we get a live Christmas tree. Usually a Douglas Fir because I think they smell the best. So we were going to go a few weeks ago on a Saturday but it snowed. So we went out during the week and couldn't find a douglas fir or any tree that was less than 9' tall! Then, I got a nasty sinus infection and felt TERRIBLE. Then, we were going to try one more time on Saturday and it snowed AGAIN! By now the month was half over and we are leaving town on the 20th for 2 weeks. Needless to say we would have no time with the tree, it's kind of expensive and kind of a pain to set up and take down. Not to mention the fire hazard while we are gone. SO this is our tree...

It's great! I actually LOVE it. I think it is so cute a perfect for us this year. It's a little tree that Spencer has had forever. We set it up every year in addition to the big tree. This year the little guy gets the spot light. The best part: it took 15 min. to set up and will take 5 min to put away!
