I went SNOWBOARDING! After our storm last weekend I just couldn't resist. The slopes with their fresh powder were calling my name. "You're pregnant!" you say? Yep, I am pregnant and I still got out on that mountain! I got the twilight pass at Sundance for $15 and had the best 2 hours since being here in UT. That was about all my pregnant body to take. I was careful not to go too fast and didn't even fall. I stuck mainly to the green circles and a few blue squares. (Normally I stay only on the black diamonds and go all day, non stop. I pack a sandwich in my pocket so I don't even have to stop for lunch. A little hard core I know, but hey those tickets aren't cheap). It was fabulous and helped me not to miss surfing so much. I did realize though how much easier it is to snowboard than surf. It's great you get dropped off and all you have to do is use gravity and go down then you get to take a break and chill (literally) 'till you get to the top again. The ocean makes you work a lot harder for your ride. It's worth it though. If we get more snow soon you can bet I will be back up that mountain for another 2 hours of powdery bliss.
