My 10 year high school reunion was a few weeks ago. I just got a few pictures from a friend so the post is a little late. Somehow I ended up without any pictures of my own. I think it's totally ironic that I am a photographer and yet I never have pictures of the events in my life.
It was so fun to see everyone, especially the girls. It was like no time has gone by except that I think we all look a little better. I'm on the hunt for some pics from HS to post.
Instead of going to the bar on Friday we went to dinner and then had dessert and hung out at my parent's house 'till 2 am. I honestly can't remember the last time I stayed up that late. (Working on HOUSE doesn't count). Admittedly, I've become a bedtime light weight.
Saturday Beth and I played a little prank that I'm sure was more fun for us than anyone else. Then we all headed down town for some shopping, Yogurt Park and pedicures. SO FUN! That night was the main event. It was great to see so many people that I just loved in high school, but haven't kept in touch with. I laughed so hard with my old volleyball gals that my face hurt. Hillary and Cindy will forever be part of my most favorite high school moments. I totally forgot how naive I was; no wonder they got such a kick out of me. Seriously, I thought our coaches earring was a starfish...it was a marrajuana leaf!

Call me crazy, but I really liked high school. I'm not trying to live in the past by any means and I love that I am a grown up now. However, I have a lot of great memories from my days at NGHS. So here is my top ten reasons why HS memories make me smile:
10. sharing a locker with my best friend
9. Rollerblading at 4:00am with Beth (as if we needed more excercise)
8. Scary car races across the Bay Bridge at 1:00am
7. High Tech Burrito and Brachs candy samples
6. Making a run for it when the power went out
5. Ditching school for bagels
4. Boys were our biggest problem
3. Volleyball
2. Lunch with all my favorite people
1. Graduation and never having to do it again
