A couple weeks ago I threw a birthday party for my good friend Erin. We (3 of us) went night skiing at Sundance for a couple hours then came back to my house just in time to get food out before everyone else arrived. I was NOT looking my best that night. However, it was a great party. Instead of looking cute I put all my time and energy into that adorable cake. Yes, it was made by yours truly and it was my first attempt at fondant. The inside was quite gourmet too. Totally worth it. I've decided that I LOVE fondant and will look for any excuse to make a cake now. Erin, thanks for having a birthday and thank you so much for being such a good friend. Without you, Utah would be miserable. Love you!
