11 Months

Ryan is 11 months! I can't believe it. He is so much fun. The best way to describe him is happy. He is just jolly. He's super playful and willingly plays any game Spencer and I can think of. Chase and peek-a-boo/hide'n'seek are his favorites. He LOVES to be outside and has a "perma grin" from the moment we walk out the door until he cries when it's time to go inside. He's been healthy for about a month now (knock on wood) and we are SO GRATEFUL. Having a sick baby for almost 3 months straight was NOT fun. He loves to be tickled, hung upside down and basically anyother "rough house" type activity. He's solid as a rock and weighs in at 26lbs. 5 oz.! He's tall too. He's mostly walking, but has yet to really commit to it. He toddles around like Frankenstein. Arms out and all and is so proud of himself when he arrives at his destination. So so cute. Ryan is also becoming quite the linguist. His vocab includes the following: bath, light, ball, book, balloon, truck, duck, dog, moo, ruff ruff, block and hi. He signs "more", "all done" and occassionally "drink." He also sings and "conducts" when he hears music and I've even caught him "reading" to himself. He is crazy about other kids and loves to watch everything going on around him.

Here are some recent pictures. My dad got the outfit for him in China. I sure love my little prince!
