The pool of nasty water and water pipes that got broken when they dug.
They had to dig most of it by hand because the water lines were too close to the surface.
And so it began...We now have beautiful new carpet in the living room, hardwood in the entry, and linoleum in the bathroom. Tomorrow the stairs are being cleaned and then it will all be behind us. We are grateful for the new stuff, but were happy with the old stuff too. Thank goodness everyone out here is so nice to work with.
