This is what I did this weekend. It has been on my "list" since we moved in. My painting progress came to a screetching halt when I got morning sickness. I am so excited to be getting it done finally. It takes longer than it did before I was pregnant, but hey done is done and I love it. I love that I can sit on my couch or walk out of my bedroom and not think to myself, "Gosh, I STILL have to paint this." Now I say, "Yay, it looks so good! Time to hang the pictures." It's a welcome change to the dialog in my head. Now on to the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and trim! It sounds crazy, but I actually do like painting. I just don't like getting it ready or cleaning up. Thanks to my slightly OCD nature I'm pretty good at it too. You should see my ceiling lines, perfect. Our place is finally going to come together. The goal is to have it all painted within 2 weeks. The trim will just be an on going thing I think. I'm excited though.
PS- For those of you worried about pregnancy and paint fumes...no need. I've done my research. Latex paints are not harmful AND I'm using an Eco-friendly, low-odor paint and I make sure to have good ventilation. Also, I only paint a few hours at a time before taking a break. In my opinion the real hazard is reaching the high stuff. Luckily I'm so tall that nothing is a real reach for me anyway.
PPS- My butt really isn't as "bubble butt" as it looks in the pictures. I was wearing Spencer's painting pants and they just fit funny. I promise!

Haha! I didn't even notice your "bubble butt" until you mentioned it. You look so cute painting in your hall. Yay for you. I love painting too. I finally painted that backhouse you told me to paint last April. Miss you.
What a girl! You're "nesting". Kind of! Glad to hear your happy self again. Love you
Ok, first, you rock! Way to go after it and finish it!!! And, you are FINALLY prego looking!! So cute! Love your v-day flowers! I cannot believe you went skiing. That is so much fun. I think I was too scared when I was pregnant. Lastly, what do you have against bubble butts?
p.s. thanks so much for your comment. . . think it was one of the nicest ever. I was on the verge of crying. And, I'm glad you survived. The kids are already asking when you are coming back!
